Candidates for the LIPTA Lifetime Achievement Award will be those who have spent a lifetime in passenger transport, and made a major contribution to one or more of its disciplines – which could be in planning, policy development and thinking, innovation or general management roles.
We’re looking for candidates from operators, local authorities (officers and politicians), civil service, the academic community, consultancy or trade and professional bodies.
The LiPTA team will make the award after consultation with senior figures, assessing candidates’ length of service and record of achievement. It will also take into account the nature and extent of their contribution has been to industry-wide bodies as well as the organisation(s) for which they have worked.
