Rewarding individual excellence

The Leadership in Passenger Transport Awards is an exciting new initiative that celebrates the outstanding expertise and dedication of managers and supervisors who drive excellence in the UK’s ground passenger transport sector. By recognising achievements in planning, promotion, and delivery across bus, coach, rail, and light rail services, these awards are designed to inspire industry leaders to set new standards and motivate teams to pursue continuous improvement.

Objectives

LiPTA is founded on three core objectives:

  • Celebrate and Promote Leadership: Provide a forum to recognise and share leadership achievements.
  • Encourage Lifelong Learning: Inspire best practice in skills development and continuous learning.
  • Enhance Industry Reputation: Help position passenger transport as a rewarding and attractive career choice.
