Our engineers are at the very heart of passenger transport: service delivery relies on fleets of road and rail vehicles that are clean, well-maintained, reliable and above all safe. To achieve this, we need engineering managers and supervisors who are able to manage complex tasks, motivate their teams, and keep up with increasingly complex systems, processes and protocols.
The judges will be looking for nominees who have a track record in these tasks, to which they also bring effective communication skills, a commitment to mentoring. They’ll be seeking evidence of their ability to perform to a budget and to deliver measurable outputs such as vehicle availability, testing pass rates and avoidance of in-service failures.
