This award is very much looking to the future, seeking to recognise and reward young talent and to inspire future achievement.
It’s designed for managers under the age of 30. They’ll be recent entrants or young recruits who’ve been given leadership positions and have been able to provide early evidence of their talents.
We’re looking for nominations of young people who lead and organisation or a business unit, who own and operate their own business with employees, or who supervise five or more people in a local authority, government department or other trade body.
The LiPTA organisers are passionate about encouraging young people in our industry. We’ve worked with the Young Bus Professionals for many years, and have run young managers’ awards at the UK Bus and UK Coach Awards since 2010 – we’ve been delighted to meet and track the progress of so many of our winners and finalists over the years since, and are really looking forward to doing so again with this award.
